Bubble Nebula

NGC7635_Bubble_LH_HOO.crop

Bubble Nebula: The socalled Bubble Nebula complex in the center of this image is part of a huge molecular cloud and HII region (ionized hydrogen). The red glowing gas covers major parts of the image.

The actual round bubble is generated by a massive  bright and hot star and its fierce star winds. The diameter of the bubble is 10 LY and lies 11000 LY away.
