Pacman Nebula: Very close to the bright star Schedar in the constellation of Cassiopeia one finds a very faint nebula complex around an open cluster of young stars, NGC 281 or sometimes also called Pacman. If imaged with long exposures and narrow-band filters, thus using only very specific emission lines, the object displays a highly dramatic nebular landscape of great beauty. One discovers numerous "Pillars of Creation" where new stars are continously born, some of them still buried in their dusty shrouds.
