Coat Hanger: This brilliant association of stars in the constellation of Vulpecula bears the consignation Collinder 399. The immediate impression is this of an Open Cluster. But this is not the case.It is an arbitrary association of brighter stars, which are not gravitationally bound. Such an arrangement of stars is called an asterism.
