Shockfront Coils in Vela SNR: The image shows a very small part of the huge GUM Nebula complex in the Southern Constellation of Vela. These dramatic skockfronts, mainly created by the emission lines of Hydrogen and Oxygen molecules, are located near the brighter star e-Velorum (left of center)
The image was mainly created by the use of H-alpha and [O3] narrow band filters.
