Binary Star Albireo (Beta Cygni): This binary or double star system, considered by many the most beautiful one in the sky, is the head of the Swan constellation and also called Albireo. This image was taken with a spider cross in front of the lens, generating the diffraction pattern showing the spectral distribution of the two stars. One can easily recognize that the brighter star has an orange-type color and the other star is white-blue.
