Seagull Nebula: This striking nebular landscape lies close to the border of Canis Major in the constellation of Monoceros and is called Seagull Nebula. IC 2177 denotes the central part of the emission nebula running diagonally through the image. The head of the seagull is catalogued as NGC 2327.
