Comet Panstarrs at Horizon

Comet Panstarrs at Horizon: This comet with the designation C/2011 L4 (Panstarrs) is besides Lemmon the second bright comet which can be observed right now with binoculars in the Southern Sky. Its present position is close to the sun. Therefore it is only visible in the twilight around sunset and sunrise. In this image the comet is close to the horizon shortly before setting.

The images were made on 2 March 2013 between 18:28 - 18:34 UT, from  Somerset West, South Africa.
