Comet Lemmon 16.2.13

Comet Lemmon 16.2.2013: This comet with the designation C/2012 F6 (Lemmon), which was discovered by A.R.Gibbs in the Mount Lemmon Survey on March 23,2012 can now be observed with binoculars in the constellation of Tucana. Its orbit is now very close to the Small Magellanic Cloud (right above center) and the bright Globular Cluster 47 Tucanae ( image center) presenting a spectacular sight.

The images were recorded on Feb 15, 2013 between 23:39 - 23:51 UT from Mount Ceder, South Africa.
