Lambda Centauri Nebula

Running Chicken Nebula: Located in the constellation of Centaurus this huge emission nebula is a tremendous star cradle, where stars of different sizes are continously born. It is quite faint and can be hardly observed from the Northern Hemisphere. Running Chicken seems to fit, although the head is a bit detached from the rest of the body.
Left of center is the brilliant Pearl Cluster (NGC 3766).
