
Cygnus Milky Way: This image spans the complete summer constellation of Cygnus or the Swan with dense parts of our Milky Way. The bright star lower left is Deneb, the brightest star of Cygnus and left of center is the yellow Sadr. Close to Deneb lies the North America and the Pelican Nebula and around Sadr the Butterfly Nebula, all active regions of star generation.
