Cometary Globule CG4

Cometary Globule CG4: This birthplace of new stars with head and tail has a similarity to a comet. This is why such objects are called Cometary Globules. The globule CG4 in the constellation of Puppis in a distance of 1300 LY has been broken up, probably by strong star winds.
It was also called God`s Hand, which seems to reach out for the Spiral Galaxy (PGC 21338), which of course is millions of LY away.
I would rather call the globule "The Galaxy Hunter".

The image was taken at the observatory of IAS at Hakos Farm in Namibia.
