Cederblad 122
Cederblad 122: Just east of the Southern Cross lies a very faint nebulosity with the catalogue designation Cederblad 122. There are not many deep photographs available of this sky region.
In this composite image (west is up) one can recognize several interesting emission nebulae and small Open Clusters.
The two bright stars in the center of the image are mCen (up) and HR 5048.The bright spot (see HiRes image) in the lower right corner is the Planetary Nebula NGC 5189 in the constellation of Musca, also called the Spiral Planetary.
