Open Cluster M48

Open Clusters M48: This Open Cluster is one of the less conspicuous clusters in Messiers famous list of Deep Sky Objects. It is located at the border of the constellations of Hydra and Monoceros. It spans about 23 LY in a distance of 1500 LY.
