Great Orion Nebula

Great Orion Nebula:This object is one of the best known and best investigated emission nebula in the sky. Thousands of professional and amateure atronomers point their eyes and telescopes in every suited night to this nebula, which actually consists of three catalogued parts: M42 up from lower right of center with the very bright trapezium region powering nearly all the emission, below the center M43, and in the lower left corner the beautifull reflection nebula NGC 1977, also called Running Man Nebula. A wider field of view can be found here.
