Christmas Tree,Fox Fur and Cone Nebula-full view
Christmas Tree,Fox Fur and Cone Nebula: This amazing skyscape in the constellation of Monoceros contains a very well known Open Cluster of very bright young stars in the image center, resembling a Christmas tree, a blue Reflection Nebula close to the bright star S Mon and beneath it another strangely shaped nebula formed like a foxe´s head and fur, called Fox Fur Nebula.
At the left there is a prominent Dark Nebula called Cone Nebula.
The image was taken at the observatory of IAS at Hakos Farm in Namibia.
