
Rho Ophiuchi-Antares Region Wide Field: To cover an even wider field of view than in the Rho Ophiuchi-Antares region mosaic I put together some time ago, this image was taken with a 200 mm photo lens and the STL 11000M camera. The vista which emerges is spectacular as the wonderful dark nebulae in their full extent can be observed.The largest of it is called The Dark River.
This is for my taste and also for aesthetic standards I think the most picturesque part of the sky!
