
Open Cluster NGC 3293: This cluster is a brilliant aggregation of young stars close to the extended Eta Carinae Nebula. It lies in a distance of approx. 10000 LY to us.
The image was taken at the IAS astronomical site at the Hakos farm in Namibia.
