Omicron Velorum Cluster

Omicron Velorum Cluster: This bright Open Cluster can be easily observed in the Southern Constellation of Vela with unaided eyes. IC 2391, which is its catalogue designation, has about 30 family members, is in a distance of 580 LY and has an age of about 36 million years, similar to the nearby cluster IC 2602.
left above IC 2391 one can recognize another Open Cluster. It is NGC 2669.

The bright star in the lower left corner is Delta Velorum.
