Triangulum Galaxy

Triangulum Galaxy: Andromeda, Milky Way and Triangulum Galaxy, which is about 3 million LY away, are the three big galaxies of our Local Group of Galaxies, which are gravitationally bound and will eventually probably merge to one gigantic galaxy. Within Triangulum Galaxy one can recognize many star generating regions besides dark dust bands and the spiral structure of the galaxy can also very well be recognized in this face-on view.
