Running Chicken Nebula

Running Chicken Nebula: Located in the constellation of Centaurus this huge emission nebula is a tremendous star cradle, where stars of different sizes are continously born. Unfortunately it is quite faint and can be hardly observed from the Northern Hemisphere. Running Chicken seems to fit, although the head is a bit detached from the rest of the body. Here is another image with a more extended field of view taken with the QHY8 camera.
