Open Cluster  M 7:  This very conspicuous Open Cluster stands in one of the brightest parts of Milky Way, called the Large Sagittarius Cloud, close to the direction towards the galactic center. It shines bright against a field of stars of nearly unbelievable density. Ptolemy`s Cluster, as M7 is also called, is known since ages and can be observed with the naked eye but especially well with a pair of binoculars.
