Open Cluster M36: This is a relatively young Open Cluster with an age of about 25 Mio years. Therefore even the heavy members of this group have not yet developed into Red Giants. As can be seen in the image there is no star with yellow colour. The cluster´s distance is 4100 LY with an extension of somewhat 14 LY.
The object in the lower right corner is the Open Cluster NGC 1931 surrounded by a small emission nebula.
