Milky Way Panorama: The image shows in a two part panorama mosaic the probably most impressive part of our galaxy: From the constellation of Sagittarius to the Carina Milky Way via Scorpio, Ara, Norma and Centaurus. Very prominently the central dust band of the galaxy can be observed, which hides a view into the center of Milky Way.
This image contains the full extent of the constellation of Scorpio.
