
The Leo Triplet of galaxies: These beautiful three galaxies in a distance of approx. 50 million light years are gravitationally influencing each other as they are relatively close neighbours. The intriguing aspect of the image is the three different orientations they have in space in relation to us as observers. M65 is on the lower left, M66 on the upper left and NGC 3628 on the right.
