Crescent Nebula: This faint nebula is part of the rich Cygnus Milky Way with so many exciting objects. For some time it was not quite certain what the origin of this small nebula is: Super Nova remnant or Planetary Nebula. Now it seems to be clear that it is a Wolf-Rayet Nebula, meaning that an extremely bright star with a Helium core creates the emission with its very intensive radiation and star winds.In any way it is a rewarding object to photograph in this star-rich part of Cygnus.
