Open Cluster NGC 2516
Open Cluster NGC 2516: Only a meager catalogue number does not do this wonderful cluster in Carina any justice! There is no doubt that this is one of the most magnificent in this Open Cluster rich constellation in a distance of 1000 LY. One thinks to look at a bowl of gems when it is observed through a mediem sized telescope.
