Sadir Nebulosity Wide Field: There is an enormous nebula complex around Sadir, the central star of the constellation of Cygnus or the Swan. The Ha narrow-band image displays this nebula complex in its details: In the lower left center of the picture is Butterfly Nebula, more to the right Crescent Nebula and in the rest of the image a variety of other nebulae and open clusters, among them M29, within this star-dense Milky Way region. The brighter nebulosity up left from the center is IC 1318a, which carries no popular name.
The deep dark spot in the upper central part is B 342.
