Galactic Nebulae NGC 3576(left)and 3603(right): These two emission nebulae are among the largest and most intense star forming areas of the Milky Way, located in the densest part of the Carina constellation. In the left nebula you can see how the star winds of the very hot young stars, having been born out of the tremendous hydrogen and dust clouds, create the round shock fronts, in which the gas is excited to glow in the red hydrogen line.
