Cat´s Paw Nebula: In the tail of Scorpius these two stunning emisssion nebulae are found. They are the brighter areas of huge gas and dust clouds with starforming continously going on. In the picture the darker extinction areas in a rich star field are also very well displayed. Cat´s Paw Nebula (NGC 6334) is in the upper right corner, the nebula on the left is NGC 6357, which shows dramaticly the dynamic effects of young stars blowing away the surrounding gas and dust with their tremendous star winds.
