Seagull Nebula in Monoceros
Seagull Nebula: It is not yet clear if this is a galactic emission nebula or a super nova remnant. It has a huge extent and is believed to be 3400 LY away. Actually it is quite faint, therefore not so often observed and photographed. The modified EOS 30D with its increased sensitivity did the job very well with a total exposure of 2.5 hours.
