North America (NGC 7000) and Pelican Nebula (NGC 5070): Both emission nebulae are great highlights of the summer Milky Way. Is is really striking how their shapes resemble the continent of North America and a Pelican. On a clear and summer night NGC 7000 can be seen with naked eyes. I took this rich-field image with my new TMB 80 f/6 refractor.
