Monkey Head Nebula: This neat little emission nebula in the constellation of Orion got its name from the distinct form, which seems somewhat appropriate. The catalogue name NGC 2174 denotes the nebula and the open star cluster within the nebula is NGC 2175, which ionizes the surrounding gas and dust giving rise to the emission nebula.
