Cone Nebula-Wide Field: This amazing nebula landscape around Cone Nebula and Christmas Tree Cluster (NGC 2264) in the left upper part of this image, is one of the highlights in the nebula-rich constellation of Monoceros. Contained in this wide-field view are several other interesting objects: In the center there is the very dense Open Cluster Trumpler 5. The small comet-like objekt in the lower left part is Hubble´s Variable Nebula (NGC 2261) and in the lower right corner the beautiful reflection nebula IC 447 is displayed. Three smaller reflection nebulae are near by: NGC 2245, NGC 2247 and IC 446.
