Cygnus Wall: Lacking a standard catalogue designation the lower part of the North America Nebula (NGC 7000) is called the Cygnus Wall. It comprises a turbulent area of hot young stars which give rise to strong shock and ionisation fronts, that can be nicely observed especially in the lower part of this image.
Only the narrow wavelength of the hydrogen Ha-line has been used for imaging this exciting part of NGC 7000.
