Open Cluster NGC 5460

Open Cluster NGC 5460: This is a rather less known and unconspicuous Open Cluster in the constellation of Centaurus, but nevertheless a nice object to observe and photograph. Up to 40 suns are arranged in a dense background of stars and range in their color from white blue to orange red.
Close to the center in a row of stars a very faint background galaxy (PGC 50388) can be detected. Another brighter one (PGC 50448) is found in the lower left part of this image.
