Spiral Galaxy NGC 2997: NGC 2997 is a beautiful Spiral Galaxy in the  Southern constellation of Antlia.It was discovered in 1793 by William Herschel.

The image was taken at the IAS astronomical site at the Hakos farm in Namibia.
