LMC-Nebulae Henize 44,51: In the Tarantulum Nebula Region within the Large Magellanic Cloud (LMC) one finds numerous Emission- and Reflection Nebulae, only rarely photographed. Two of the more prominent parts are displayed in this image.
In the upper left of the image one finds the nebula complex designated Henize 51 with several individual emission nebulae, the brightest of which is NGC 1968.
In the lower right part is the complex of Henize 44, the bightest patches of this are NGC 1935 and 1936.
