Markarian´s Chain of Galaxies: As if they are dancing in a beautiful arrangement this group of galaxies in the constellation of Virgo are part of the huge Virgo cluster of galaxies, some 50 million light years away. There are older elliptical galaxies and younger spiral galaxies all present in this image. The two bright elliptical ones on the right are M84 and M86.
