From Centaurus to Carina: This is for me one of the most wonderful parts of the Milky Way, only visible from the Southern Hemisphere. The so called Pointer Stars Alpha( only 4.2 light years away) and Beta Centauri show the way to the Southern Cross with the dark Coal Sack, a huge star dust area blocking the light of the stars behind. To the right then the splendid Carina Milky Way with its fabulous objects, the most beautiful of which is the Eta Carinae Nebula.
