Saturn: The second biggest planet of our solar system (equatorial diameter 120.500 km) is like Jupiter a gas giant (mainly hydrogen and helium). The mean distance to earth is 1.43 Billion km. On this image the famous ring system surrounding the planet is due to its present position very much inclined and so not fully visible.
